Polished Concrete Floor Finishing

This project at Francis Street focused on delivering a clean, modern polished concrete floor across interior office and commercial spaces. The goal was to enhance the natural character of the concrete while providing a durable, low-maintenance surface suitable for daily foot traffic in a professional environment.

The process began with surface preparation and light grinding to smooth the slab, remove surface inconsistencies, and expose a uniform concrete profile. Existing cracks and joints were carefully addressed to maintain structural integrity while preserving the authentic look of the concrete. Attention was given to transitions around walls, glass partitions, and built-in millwork to ensure a seamless finish throughout the space.

Once prepared, the floor was polished to achieve a refined, satin-like sheen that improves light reflectivity without creating excessive gloss. The final finish highlights the natural aggregates and subtle variations in the concrete, adding warmth and texture that complements the surrounding wood details and clean architectural lines.
