This project involved the preparation and coating of an underground parkade at Richmond Casino, focused on restoring and protecting the existing concrete flooring while improving durability, safety, and appearance.
Based on the site conditions shown, the scope of work began with surface preparation, including mechanical grinding and cleaning to remove contaminants, worn finishes, and surface imperfections. This process ensured proper adhesion and long-term performance of the new coating system.
Once prepared, the parkade floor received a high-performance concrete coating, applied evenly across designated parking areas. The finished surface provides a smooth, seamless, and moisture-resistant finish, designed to withstand vehicle traffic, tire abrasion, and daily wear common in commercial parking structures.
Special attention was given to edges, columns, and wall transitions, creating a clean, continuous finish throughout the space. The final result is a durable, easy-to-maintain parkade floor that enhances visibility, protects the concrete substrate, and extends the lifespan of the parking structure.
