Parkade Floor Coating Removal & Recoating

This project at Colwood Corners involved the complete removal of an existing, failing floor coating within a commercial parkade. The original surface showed signs of wear, delamination, and uneven performance, requiring full mechanical preparation prior to recoating.

Our team used professional shot blasting and grinding equipment to remove the old coating and expose sound concrete. This process ensured a properly profiled surface capable of achieving maximum adhesion for the new coating system. Special care was taken around columns, corners, ramps, and tight-access areas to maintain a consistent finish throughout the space.

Following surface preparation, a high-performance industrial floor coating was applied to restore durability, improve slip resistance, and enhance the overall appearance of the parkade. The finished floor provides a clean, uniform surface designed to withstand daily vehicle traffic and long-term use.

The completed work at Colwood Corners delivered a durable, functional, and visually improved flooring system while meeting the demands of an active commercial environment.
