Decorative Epoxy Floor System

This Flake Broadcast project involved the installation of a high-performance decorative epoxy flooring system designed to combine durability with a clean, modern aesthetic. The space was prepared to accommodate a seamless, long-lasting surface suitable for daily residential use while maintaining a professional, finished appearance.

Work began with thorough surface preparation, including mechanical grinding to remove contaminants and ensure proper adhesion. Any minor imperfections were addressed to create a smooth, uniform concrete base. A high-quality epoxy base coat was then applied, followed by a full broadcast of decorative flakes to achieve consistent coverage and visual depth throughout the space.

Once the broadcast layer was set, excess flakes were removed and the surface was sealed with a durable clear topcoat. This final layer enhances abrasion resistance, moisture protection, and ease of maintenance while providing a subtle sheen that reflects light evenly across the floor.
