New Build Concrete Floor Coating

This project involved the installation of a brand-new concrete floor coating system inside a helicopter hangar designed for aircraft storage, maintenance, and operational use. The scope focused on delivering a high-performance flooring solution capable of supporting heavy equipment, aircraft movement, and daily industrial activity.

Work began after the new concrete slab had fully cured. The surface was mechanically prepared to ensure proper adhesion, remove laitance, and create a clean, uniform substrate. Attention was given to slab consistency, joints, and transitions to achieve a smooth and even base across the entire hangar floor.

Following preparation, a durable industrial-grade coating system was applied, creating a seamless, non-porous surface with a clean, professional finish. The coating improves light reflectivity throughout the hangar, enhances visibility, and helps maintain a safer working environment. Markings and layout lines were incorporated to support operational zoning and equipment positioning.

The finished floor delivers excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and heavy loads while remaining easy to clean and maintain. This new-build helicopter hangar now features a long-lasting concrete flooring system engineered to meet the demands of aviation operations and high-traffic industrial use.
